Strength Through Collaboration

Established by the Legislature in 1986, the Mississippi Community College Board (MCCB) serves as the coordinating agency for Mississippi’s 15 community colleges. Guided by its mission to advance the system through coordination, support, leadership, and advocacy, the MCCB promotes statewide collaboration and innovation that strengthens education and workforce training. The MCCB supports the colleges as they serve students, employers, and communities across Mississippi.

A special called meeting of the Mississippi Community College Board will be held at 2:00 p.m. CST, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Room 633 of the Paul B. Johnson, Jr. Building, located at 3825 Ridgewood Road,  Jackson, MS, 39211. 

The purpose of this meeting is for consideration of initial approval for Adult Education Program Guidelines, May 2026 General Fund 
Disbursements, and approval of a purchase greater than $50,000. This meeting may be conducted as a teleconference meeting.
