Mississippi community colleges serve Mississippians, prepare students for success at four-year colleges and universities, support communities across the state’s 82 counties, and are strong economic drivers that make significant contributions to the state’s economy. Mississippi’s community colleges ensure companies have the skilled workers needed to build and maintain a competitive advantage. The 15 colleges offer affordable education and excellent training in career, technical certificate, diploma and two-year associate degree programs. Education is preparation. Whether entering the job market for the first time, filling skills gaps for a career change, or seeking new credentials for new opportunities, Mississippi’s workforce will be prepared at every education level for occupations with higher earning power. The Mississippi Community College Board Program Division provides support, technical assistance, policies and process for our community college programs. The Programs division is represented by a committed, knowledgeable, and professional core team, focused on student-centered and innovative best practices.
